Moonfire Mare Family
The Moonfire family was established when we purchased Moonfire Cassandra from a Kentucky breeder in 2010. Cassandra is a Polish-bred mare of exceptional scope and athleticism - a different type to our Egyptian mares, and deliberately so. The cross between the two lines has produced some of our most successful horses, including our national champion stallion Poltava Radiance.
Cassandra is 20 years old and still very much with us - retired from breeding but living in comfortable retirement at Red Canyon. She is the dam of Poltava Radiance and four other horses, two of whom are in active competition. She is the reason we have a Polish line in the program and we owe her a great deal.

Dancer is the classic product of our Egyptian x Polish cross - she has Salaadin's refinement laid over Cassandra's scope and athleticism. She is a competitive show mare who has also completed several endurance rides. She is currently in foal to Radiance for a 2026 foal, a breeding we expect to produce something very special.
Luna is our youngest mare in residence and she is already making a statement. Grey from Salaadin's line, athletic and correct from Radiance and Dancer - she is everything this cross was supposed to produce. She will be shown for the first time this season and we have high expectations. Not yet bred.
